About this listen

With one touch of the stone, Tyron receives his Class and his life changes forever.

In an instant his bright and promising future as the scion of two powerful Slayers is torn apart and he must make a decision.

Will he allow his Class to be purged from his soul, or will he cling to it, abandon all that he knows, and rise to power?

Don't miss the start of the next hit LitRPG series from RinoZ, the author of Chrysalis. Book of the Dead takes on all aspects of Necromancy headfirst, from the tactical maneuvering of skeletons, to what it's like spending so much time among the undead.

I found myself intrigued by the sudden twist that shatters the protagonist's bright future as the scion of two powerful Slayers. Having enjoyed the author's previous series, I decided to give this one a try.

The narrative starts off at a slow pace, with a significant focus on world-building that eventually pays off towards the end. The deliberate pace sets the stage for a more intricate and immersive experience, providing a solid foundation for the story's development.

However, the book concludes in a way that feels like it's only a portion of the larger tale. The sense of an unfinished story leaves me eager for the next installment, as the promising start and the unresolved elements hint at more exciting developments to come.

Phil Thron's narration adds another layer to the storytelling, capturing the essence of the protagonist's journey and enhancing the overall listening experience. His delivery brings the characters to life, contributing to the immersive quality of the audiobook.

A slow but rewarding buildup with a feeling that it's only the beginning of a larger narrative. The anticipation for the next installment is palpable, making it a promising start to what seems to be an engaging LitRPG adventure series.

Starts Slow, Great Finish

I like the story but rinoz shitty parent trope and the child’s lackadaisical acceptance of it is so damn annoying.

What’s up with rinoz and shitty parents?

The main character has nearly no hesitation about jumping into his new lifestyle and immediately disregards human sensibilities. Still, I can’t wait to get the next book.

Good Kind of Crazy?

The Main character is unbelievably talented and powerful for his level due to hard work, talent, and support from his family but it doesn't help him that much, in fact half the time it makes his problems worse

My new favorite LitRPG
