A crisp myriad of great short stories

I found this collection to contain some very enjoyable works. I'm not usually a short story reader but I thought to give this collection a go and was not disappointed.

With any book or series there's going to be some parts more inspirational than others. This was not the case here. All but one story I thoroughly enjoyed and that was not due to the story but my personal lack of grasping the plot.

Awesome

I loved this collection of shorts. One or two of them were not my cup of tea but that's a me problem.
Now i have new authors to add to my list of amazing reads.

A potpourri of amuse-bouche sci-fi stories

This anthology was enjoyable. I do prefer longer novel-spanning stories, but thats just me. If you want a lot of good little stories this is a great collection.

I would love to see longer versions in each of these stories.

A constellation of great tales

It kept me in awe. The kind of awe you would get as a child as you look at the night sky in the country side or deep in a forest. It was a worth while read.

Some Are Good

There were about 4 of the short stories for me that were good. There were a lot that just didn’t hold my interest. Great narrators though.

What a Wonderful Trip

Bridge Across the Stars is an exceptional collection of sci-fi short stories that delivers adventure, wonder, and heartfelt humanity across every page. Each story is a testament to the creativity and talent of the authors involved, and as a fan of science fiction, I found myself completely captivated from start to finish.

One of the highlights for me was seeing work from Jason Anspach, one of my favorite sci-fi authors. His contribution, as expected, was masterful—combining gripping storytelling with profound ideas that lingered long after I moved to the next story. The diversity of voices in this anthology ensures there's something for every sci-fi lover, whether you're drawn to space opera, thought-provoking dystopias, or deeply personal tales of exploration.

This book isn't just an anthology; it's a journey across worlds and emotions. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment and highly recommend it to any sci-fi fan! And mighty thanks to all the narrators - they were all stella in their delivery.

Great collection, superb performances, but...

I just kept wanting more after each brief tale. On the one hand these were excellent tales but in the end I did not enjoy having them end so quickly!

If you're looking for a sampler's delight, then this is the audio book for you! Based on my listen, I will definitely be looking at a number of these author's that I had not heard of, read, or listened to before.

From a narration standpoint, both were superb! I greatly enjoyed Greg Tremblay's past work (Scythe) and his narration here was just as great. Nicole Poole's narration was also very satisfying. Both narrators delivered pleasant and engaging narrations with plenty of character variation and nothing that I felt I could complain about!

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Anthology of great range

This anthology really runs the gamut of style, scenario, setting, and so on. None of the stories fell flat, though I did increase the playback speed on some because the dramatic suspense became a little stale or forced.
Recommended for anyone interested in sci fi shorts or anyone looking for new/unknown authors to support and enjoy.
