I picked this up not expecting to much but to my surprise and delight I was wrong. I truly laughed out loud and found myself trying to keep busy so l could keep listening. Worth the time and price. Will get the sequel.

Surprisingly good.

The story was simply awesome. Great mix of action and comedy, I have a new favorite in this genre

Would you consider the audio edition of Chaos Theory to be better than the print version?

I don't know, I didn't read the print version. But I am a big Zombie/post apocalyptic/EOTWAWKI fan and this one came up on my Audible recommend feed.

What did you like best about this story?

I love supense/gore/scary monsters interspersed with humor. I liked the lead characters slightly sarcastic sense of humor and obvious observations. Made the story more entertaining for me personally.

Which scene was your favorite?

I am writing this review for both book 1 Chaos Theory and book 2 Conspiracy Theory.
I liked both equally, and am hopeful that book 3, which I know exists will also make it to audio. I don't know that I had a favorite scene, but I particularly enjoyed any scene's with Lynch, Shipp or Remo. I found them to be the best secondary characters so far.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No, no extreme reactions, but I did smile a few times at the protaganist's wry sarcastic observations of various occurences. There weren't really any tense super scary moments in this series for me. Some gory descriptions, and a few narrow escapes, none that were edge of the seat.

Any additional comments?

Not my top favorite of the genre, but I did enjoy it very much and I hope that book 3 is available soon. The narration was also very good. My first time to listen to any narration by Micheal Kramer and I thought he was pretty good.

No surprises but entertaining zombie series.

Would you listen to Chaos Theory again? Why?

To start, thank god! The main isn't a bodybuilder and doomsday prepper with 27 billion survival skills. It's not written by your typical chauvinist Pig who believes that one man can solve all problems with some insight and a little luck. Not a man who defies all odds and knows the right choice in all situations every time.

( By the way ladies, Chauvinism is a form of extreme patriotism and a belief in national superiority and glory. Whereas patriotism and nationalism may represent temperate pride, chauvinism is intemperate. It can be also defined as "an irrational belief in the superiority or dominance of one's own group or people".[1] Moreover, the chauvinist's own people are seen as unique and special while the rest of the people are considered weak or inferior. So don't just refer to men this way it can be applied to you also. )

Anyways, Michael Kramer excels in the character narration. Matrim Cauthon mixed with Kelsier! Similar and I must say a bit superior to the Golden Age of radio in his storytelling!

Z Nation-ish Matrim Cauthon crossed with Kelsier!

As I said I hate Zombies. The combination of the humor in all that zombie horror and things going right and wrong for the main character and the great narration by Michael Kramer it's a hit. Love both books and am ready for book number three.

I hate Zombies. So this book was great.

I absolutely loved this book. It's military/locker room humor with a zombie apocalypse background

Zombie Apocalypse with humor

The story starts out well and mainly stays pretty great most of the book. If you liked both The Walking Dead and Z-Nation this is a great book for you! From rural New Hampshire to rural Tennessee and beyond it's a great journey.

Great read(or listen)

Same old story person gets bit, person becomes infected, oh wait there's an immune person... group of bad guys, people trying to get by and so on...listen to fill space in an afternoon working around the house..,

Not really anything different than any of the other Zombie related series...

Great take on SHTF. With action and challenges, with MC character flaws and a little humor. By character flaws mean, not someone that’s prepped for this their entire life. Definitely downloading book 2 now

Good apocalypse yarn

Although rare, the author can be a little too descriptive and wordy, but I emphasize that it’s rare. And from time to time the humor can be forced in a little corny, but that’s only if I’m forcing myself to pick out negatives as I enjoy the series immensely.

Descriptive but not too wordy, including some good humor
