Loved the concept.

The content is deep and worth more than a listen in the car. Get the book, or at least download the PDF BEFORE you start! The author references these notes throughout the book. I wish there was a way to know when a title will demand more of our focus than just listening. Definitely will need to listen again, read, and take more notes.

Not engaging

The book covers a very important topic which everyone needs to learn. My concern with it is it is boring to listen to. I have attempted a few times but just can't get through it.

Very valuable new skill

I saw my type and the types of the people around me in Shelle’s examples of type and contexts. Some information was a bit much to take in while driving, but I’ll go back and consult the printed material.

A new perspective

Absolutely fantastic book about communication that enables you to see words in a completely different way. It's structured in a simple but also quite understandable way and helps you achieve a level of vision on communication and how to use the exact words that you need to achieve your goals.

Textbook

I assumed I could learn from this book as I was driving around, since I have no background in what she discusses, I need to sit down and learn the basics to glean the information contained in this book. I can see the specifics may be valuable...

Good information but hard to follow sometimes

The information in this book was very interesting and useful, but It was a struggle to follow many of the passages. The content was clearly intended to be read. I had to replay some sections to try to understand where a topic began and ended.

Great Sales campaign

The author's style reminded me of "The Art of The Deal" by former President Donald Trump. She spends a great deal of time patting herself on the back. There are some great nuggets in this book, but the book tries to cover too many industries. Not the best book for an audiobook, but there is some great information.
