It also discusses the power of words in all of our daily conversations. Each chapter addresses a different aspect of parenting and includes actual scripts and precise language for parents to use to set limits with empathy and to use conversations as opportunities for learning. Language is powerful, and the exact words, tone, and nonverbal communication parents use when trying to move through a sticky moment with their child means everything.

Super helpful!
This book provided so much for my little boy to learn. My son struggles with his temper and this book gave him practices to control his temper. We listened through this book together and I am so glad we did. Not only has it seriously helped my son, but also it was a good bonding time for us to have.

10/10 Recommend!
My son absolutely loved it! This book's approach to controlling one's emotions is so simple that anyone can understand it, but so effective at the same time. My son is already more aware of his own thoughts and what triggers certain emotions out of him; he truly is acting years beyond his age. Would recommend this book for parents who want their kids' emotional development to thrive.

Informative and Engaging!
Great program for young kids to help them better understand their emotions and be in tune with what they feel! Good paced narration along with easy to understand language and affirmative words really helps youth to be in touch with who they are and what they are feeling! The program was relaxing and really informational. Plus, the bonus pdf was very engaging and playful, perfect for kids! Overall, would definitely recommend this for young kids so they have a good grasp of mental health and emotions!

Best book for your kid!!!
If your kids are acting up or just need some help on behavior this is the book for you. I have a you girl at the house that has had many outbursts recently that have gotten out of control. I was looking for anything to help me figure out a way to control this sudden anxiety attacks. Thats when I learned about, "DBT Workbook for Kids" which has helped our families in more ways than one. It worked so good with my two year old that I decided to try it with my 4 year old boy. I highly recommended this book for any parents trying to get their kids back on the right track.
