I love this book.

As a committed cognitive behavioral therapist, I am thankful for Camille Robinett's work and often refer my clients to her resources. This workbook is perfect for teens who struggle with problematic anxiety, even if the concerns do not appear to be around shyness or social anxiety.

Thanks to the author for providing such a wonderful resource!

Best how-to guide for social anxiety!

As someone who has suffered social anxiety my entire life, I was very excited to read this book. At the time, I had no idea it was so prevalent, I thought I was the only one who felt this way. Even some famous celebrities have admitted to suffering from it.
One thing I like about this book is the author asks the reader many questions to consider, such as how you react to different situations as well as chapter exercises. Based on your answers, you will get some insight as to why you do the things you do and why you react the way you do at certain times.
She discusses the various different types of social anxiety and why they occur. Not surprisingly, social media is a huge reason why so many teens have social media.
Many strategies to combat it are revealed, including CBT, journaling and breathing. Also included is what to expect if you see a therapist, as well as different treatment methods.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who either has issues with social anxiety themselves, or for anyone who has a teen in their life that may need a bit of extra help being social.

I could have used this when I was a teen!

This book is so smart. And incredibly compassionate. Whether as a guide for parents or for the teens themselves - there is so much great information. Well-researched and filled with anecdotes as well. This book will really, really help a lot of people. (Fantastic narration too,)

Powerful Techniques.

I am very impressed with this workbook because my clients that are shy and have social anxiety can identify with the characters so well. It truly helps my clients feel better about themselves because the book helps them understand that it is not their fault, but that they have to take risks to make changes. I am so pleased with several of my clients’ progress with whom I have been using this work book, that I highly recommend it for use with tweens and teens.

Amazing

I suffered from social anxiety still to this day. This book isn't just for teens but for anyone who has issues with being around people and the anxiety they feel when they're a bit out of their own little comfort zone.
