Instead of doing this, I walked to the parking lot, retrieved a pen from our car, and walked back to our table. It would’ve been easier to just borrow a pen, but I opted for the route that involved less social interaction. I did this automatically, without even thinking.

Calming and informative

Hit home!
My daughter suffers, and this book helped me understand what is going on in her mind and tactic we can use to help her through anxious times. The habit-changing techniques are easy to implement, and you will see the difference right away. I also thought the narrator has an excellent voice for the material, a joy to listen to.

This book is great! I raised 6 daughters and 1 son. This would have been amazing for them to listen to in their teens.
I loved the breathing exercises and easy-to-follow tasks found in this book to become aware of and reduce anxiety symptoms. The easy-to-follow exercises help you become more confident and gain better self-esteem by teaching you to love yourself, look people in the eye, get out of your comfort zone, and change your thoughts. I highly recommend this book.

Love it!
The author is well aware of not only the potential causes and triggers of social anxiety, bt also provides you with practical activities that are very simple to follow in order to ease yourself from this phase of anxious emotions. In my teenage years and throughout my adult life, I struggled with social anxiety.I genuinely wish I had read this book as a child. I purchased this book as a gift for my teenage niece who also experiance the same. This book is the ultimate cycle breaker of this condiction.
