About this listen

The enemy unknowingly opened a portal to the Netherworld, and our world’s only wizard somehow managed to close it.

Unfortunately, something got through. Something big. A dragon. Now Kaz Wolfe, with help from his dog Duke who is channeling the spirit of a wizard from ancient Babylon, and with no help from Azib the Cowardly Genie, must find the dragon before someone gets a cellphone video of the thing, and the world learns that magic is real.

Or, you know, before the dragon eats someone.

a little slow.

Good story, but it was very slow in between each important story line. I am waiting until Joe and Skippy returns,

Love Craig Alanson and RC Bray

Can’t say this is a story I works have gotten into ID I hadn’t listened to other titles (Ex-Force) and all things Bray…but, I’m really enjoying this series. Characters have all grown on me.. even the god damned talking dog!

I’m hooked! Yes please, I gave another serving!

Not great literature but great fun

I LOVE Craig Alanson’s stories as read by RC Bray. To the critics out there, love it for what it is…a fun romp with a few “in jokes” (if you’ve read any of the ExForce books) a few cultural references and Bray’s amazing repertoire of character voices. No it’s not great literature but it is a welcome reprieve from the current news and good interlude listening between more serious reading. Nothing made me happier than to hear there are more ExForce books coming and I do hope we get more of Duke, Mr Boots, Azib the cowardly djin, and Kaz!

Another Winner

RC Bray did a wonderful job on the next installment of Convergence, no surprise there. The story was fun and an easy listen, like all of Craig's other books. I'm looking forward to the next installment.

AWESOME STORY

Please if you are reading this review and you are deciding should I use a credit on this. The answer is yes it is worth the buy for the entertainment. The knights trip me out and I won’t go into details don’t want to spoil it. However i’m really interested into what the characters might develop into especially Duke. Looking forward to the next release.

Alanson is hitting his stride with this.

The first Convergence book started a new series and I thought was unfairly compared to the Exforce series. I think with Dragonslayer, he's once again hitting his stride with this new series. The characters are starting to have their own voices and not sound like replications of Exforce characters in my mind. I can't wait to see what #3 is like when it comes out in the fall.

Book 2 Getting Better

I was happy with book 1 of Convergence but found it slow at times. Book 2 moved faster and added a bit more depth to some of the characters, which was helpful. RC Bray is a master narrator and will bring every book to life.
