About this listen

Emotional abuse can be difficult to recognize and even harder to leave behind

Victims of emotional abuse may feel like:

  • They are walking on eggshells, constantly fearful of upsetting their abuser.
  • They are isolated, as the abuser may have limited their relationships.

Simply put, their life has been hijacked, and they are no longer in control.

This book is for anyone who has experienced emotional abuse or wants to understand and support a loved one who has.

🎯 on point

This book explains diligent information towards trauma and gives advice on how to overcome.

I really feel in regards to certain issues, a shaman should be recommended to assist with the healing process from deep rooted issues as a modality instead of the type of therapy the book suggested. There should be spiritual guidance included since that is also an option for trauma purges/purgations + catharsis.

The lady that narrated the book seemed winded, I heard coughing, repetitive sentences and the pauses for the next chapter were toooooo long.

Good book though!.

So annoying.

The book was fine, but the narrator! Constantly clearing her throat, rereading sentences. I had trouble finishing it.
