Publisher's summary

Wish you had time to exercise? Turned off by the "meat market" scene at most gyms? Or are you simply unsure about how to get started with a daily workout? The good news is that you don't have to follow extreme exercise programs like Insanity and P90X or spend every free moment in the gym to experience the health benefits exercise has to offer. All you need to do is make a simple goal to exercise every day in a way that fits your already busy schedule.

The truth? You struggle with exercising because of specific workout obstacles. Here's the thing: Most people have both the desire and capacity to exercise, but they never get started because they allow obstacles to get in their way. For instance you might feel exhausted when your alarm clock goes off two hours earlier than usual in the morning, so you can't bring yourself to make it to boot camp class. Or perhaps you don't have space in your house for lots of weights and equipment. These are real-life obstacles, and it's likely that issues such as these have prevented you from engaging in regular exercise.

In this book you will have the opportunity to identify those obstacles that seem to continually get in your way. Then you will learn how to review each obstacle and identify the specific solutions to experience a personal breakthrough.

Very helpful...inspired me to appreciate small consistent actions

I listen to this book driving in my car as I was needing ideas help me create and establish a habit of exercise in my life. This book is exactly what I was looking for....simple, to the point, and lots of realistic implementable ideas. I am starting with small consistent actions of 10 minutes walking every morning. And IF my mornings don’t work out THEN I walk before going to bed...and am sleeping better than ever. 💕👍💕

Basic, but very helpful

I feel that there were a lot of good tips here. Nice format. I like to take notes when I read this type of book. It was clear early on the structure of the discussion, so I could title note sections. Steps were clearly headed, Step 1, Step 2, etc. I appreciated the concept of micro commitments and feel it will help my exercise efforts moving forward. Would recommend to others, and will likely read again.

helpful and funny

If you could sum up Exercise Every Day in three words, what would they be?

The book is easy to comprehend, helpful, and entertained. The book does not open anything new for me. The tactics are classical rather than innovative. The most I got from this book is author's convincing way to explain simple things.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Exercise Every Day?

beginning

What about Greg Zarcone’s performance did you like?

yes

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

There is only one person on the Earth who can help me. And this person is me.

Any additional comments?

Great strategies

I really like this book because there were great practical strategies that could be used. Also there was a solution for every excuse that we use not to exercise.

Love it!!

I think this is the second book I’ve listened to by this author and I absolutely love his books, very helpful, not condescending, tells you what he does without making it an ego trip for him (literally had a book once that was nothing but the guy offering terrible extremist health advice and working in how great and amazing he is every few minuets!). Highly recommend.
