About this listen

Fibromyalgia is an often misunderstood disease affecting women more than men and adults more than children. This guide tells my personal story and how I am coping with this illness. I give details of the things that help me in the hope that they may help you as well. I have used simple language to describe the illness and its effects rather than using the often confusing and scary medical jargon with which we are sometimes bombarded in our daily battle with this disease.

If you have done lots of research you probably won't hear anything new. However if you are looking to connect to another's story with fibromyalgia just for 20mins it is worth the few dollars to listen. I also recommend Toni Bernard She has 3 books of mix of research and personal experience. How to live well was my fav.

Basic info but reassuring

I found this to be a very interesting listen. Before listening, I really did not know what fibromyalgia was. The author shared her personal experience and now I have a better understanding.

The narration was very easy to listen to. Cecily White has a very calm and soothing voice.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.
