Covers a lot of new and relevant health info

Dave Asprey updates the reader on a lot of new health info, succinctly introducing and explaining the ideas, and giving the reader the quick what-to-do information as well.

Worth a second listen. Or, buying the hard cover for quick reference. Which is what I did.

Great explanation of our body's energy

It is a bit technical in places, but that does not distract from the key messages. It is informative and gives implementation plans to improve mitochondrial energy.

Fascinating and Brilliant - Most Impactful Book

This book is brillantly layered with scientific information and sprinkled with humor and honesty that make it positively enjoyable at every chapter. The author gives back 700 fold by bringing all the lessons learned from years of experience and experimentation to the readers. The content of this book will change the reader and the world.

Overall good!

Learned some good things but have some concerns. Asprey has a tendency to take a concept and run with it without thoroughly evaluating the resulting imbalances that may occur. It is very allopathic approach that as a practitioner of traditional herbal medicine seems unnatural. He will take a bit of research and sort of spout it out as truth. This can be a problem and provide unthorough information. For instance the talk about dairy products being bad for you bc humans can't process a particular protein I find inaccurate . I have issues with inorganic milk but, good quality milk and cream I do just fine. Also milk only inhibits a certain type of polyphenol which is found in green tea and not all polyphenols. His information can easily lead a novice into living by a very rigid set of rules. OverAll I give it a 4 just because there is some good stuff in here and you will learn things (a lot of which is very expensive). Just realize while you are listening and reading that this only one perspective.

Blueprint for optimal performance and health

Very specific and technical ways to improve health energy levels and performance primarily by enhancing mitochondria. Great read!

much like the diet book

you prior to this I listen to the bulletproof diet book. This is very much like that book only I feel like there was more detail gone into over certain things.

This Book Is Gold

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I'd recommend this book to anyone. There is a wealth of information contained in this book. So many good takeaways. Best of all it's dense in substance, but it's easily digestible.

What did you like best about this story?

Giving me permission to not feel guilty about my 3 cups of coffee per day habit as long as I stop before 2 PM.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

One reaction I had to this book is Dave makes claims about his products. One claim in particular that Bulletproof Coffee is low toxin. While I tend to believe Dave regarding his coffee why not just test popular brands and share the data? It really is frustrating to have to take Dave's word for it without backing it up with accessible data comparing Dave's products with national brands.

Love all the info packed into this book. Will definitely listen to this book again.
