A must have tool for life
I love this book, I listened it from Audible catalog but it's so useful that I decided to buy it for further reference. I think many problems can be avoided or solved just by talking, but having awkward conversations is hard for everyone. Fortunately this book teaches you how to have those conversations. Even better, this book teaches you the conversations you should have now to avoid tough conversations later. I think I'll be using this knowledge every day of my life

Everyone should listen to this!
As a People and HR Leader, I request all my HRBP’s listen to this so they understand the truth behind an empathetic and candid culture, and how it can be used to support employees and managers in their career growth. Huge fan!

Useful and practical tips!
I’ve seen Shari speak at a number of conferences and always walk away with so many instant takeaways. I was excited to read her book. I love her models, practical steps, humor and…. It’s hard to argue with anything she says.

thank you Shari, the book is so informative, and absolutely advice I feel each person must be exposed to in their working environment from top to bottom.
a reminder to concepts that makes sense and that are sensible and powerful, and not as technical, just needing a bit of courage.
