Good read!

This book takes a look into the reasons why we have impulses and talks about how to control them. It also gives ideas on how to handle yourself under pressure. I found this to be very helpful.

I must listen

these were things that I used to know. But you go through life you raise kids you get divorced you figure out who you are you go through all the things in life and you find yourself going through menopause and forgetting things. It was really good for me to listen to this book again and remember that I'm much more strong and resilient than I thought I was and the places that I have become week in a canal strengthen again.

Exceptional work

I loved listening as I slept. Gave rise to many epiphanies and great ideas in my dreams. I highly recommend this.

An excellent resource packed with wisdom.

I feel like I just completed the summary lessons of 20 books. The author did an excellent job of breaking things down into easy bullets of quality wisdom. Not many stories here. If you need that to hold your attention. This reads more like a manual. But the narrator did a superb job. A great read that made for a wonderful listen.

Good beginner book

This book has good prompts to get people thinking about mental toughness. All very surface layer info and maybe a good starter book to get into the topic more deeply with other books. The last 45 min of audio is a recap of the book which is why I’m returning it.

common sense

Well packaged and concisely narrated. So it's not too long and wordy. A good primer on starting your path to mental toughness. Dan Crenshaw's Fortitude would be a good follow up.
