Excellent book for beginners
I had an interest in Intermittent Fasting, and this book came along at the right time.
Not only does it give you the different options available for fasting, but it doesn't seem as hard as what I projected in my head.
I know I will listen to this audio more than once, as I do with instructional audios. And it will be a great reference to go back to.

interesting
Very interesting thoughts and advise on how to fast and do it properly. I never realized there are so many ways to fast. I was always taught that fasting was only Drinking water for 24 hours or more hours. I am excited to put it in action and get my weight back under control. The narrator did an exceptional job. He has a smooth quality and enough inflection in his voice to keep this book interesting. He retained my interest throughout the whole book.

This sounds like it is read by a robot. It is kind of like a Wikipedia article, If you really want to know abou clean intermittent fasting, read Delay, Don't Deny instead. It is much more interesting and useful.

Intermittent Fasting, strategy worth considering
As a registered dietitian, I have reviewed current reserach on intermittent fasting and have found a growing body of evidence that supports potential health benefits. However, this book included erroneous information not consistent with known biochemistry. for example, there were warnings that limiting calories could result in lowered metabolism that would make fat loss impossible; This may sound convincing yet common sense reminds us that prisoners of war who live on limited calories do not come home obese. I would hope that future additions would include an editor with a background and working vocabulary in biochemistry. I do support time restricted eating and I appreciated the appropriate recommendation to see a physician before beginning fasting in the presence of some chronic conditions. I was pleased with the emphasis on quality sleep and on active lifestyles. I cannot support the dietary recommendations included in the book with carbohydrate intake as low as 5% of total caloric intake (not consistent with RDI's). Intermittent fasting along with a diet that provides at least 50% of total caloric intake from quality carbohydrate foods (whole grains, legumes, vegetables, and whole fruits) is a health promoting diet and could be part of a successful weight loss plan.
