Just in Time
Since completing Dr. Cabeca's Magic Menopause program two years ago, I continue to benefit from increased energy, clarity of thought, and decreased joint pain. I followed the keto-green diet closely for about a year and a half. I lost 10 pounds and my husband, who eats keto green because I shop and cook, lost 25 pounds. (He likes to tell people he lost weight on his menopause diet).
Recently, with all the time at home, I noticed bad habits sneaking in, especially in the evening. One glass of wine has become two, a few pieces of dark chocolate has become half a bag of chocolate chips...and the scale reflects these changes. I decided to get back on track and just in time, Keto Green 16 hit the shelves!
Dr. Cabeca's motivational reading of Keto Green 16 reignited a passion to feel my best. I immediately made a grocery list and plan to begin the program this week. Learned a lot!!
Lots of information about how the food we eat, products we use and activities we do effect our hormones which in turn effect our mood and weight. Some things I will never do like, look at myself in a mirror and say positive affirmations, but maybe other women will?!? I also like that she has pdf of the foods and meals ect.

Provides some descent information, however not much original content here
In typical diet industry fashion the author uses the plan to sell her own products like smoothie blends and other beverages. It feels more like an advertisement than a well researched book, unfortunately. That’s why I’m giving it two stars; it really irritates me.
The plan is based in calorie restriction- primarily achieved through removing anything on the higher end of the glycemic index & intermittent fasting, which she gives good instructions for.
If you are a very beginner with eating healthy and want some information about inflammation & hormones, or intermittent fasting this would be a good resource for you.
If you’re a veteran with any experience with intermittent fasting & eating vegetables with your meals you probably won’t learn much,
All that said, it’s probably a pretty heathy diet to follow for most people.

Nothing new. For beginners not the hormone imbalanced.
Coming from a woman who’s had a hysterectomy, gone through menopause and has a crazy hormone in balance in which I’m trying to get back on track, I expect much more from this book. Identical to last book, except for the fact she keeps on pushing her new products. The very last chapter she gives you a keto macro range that is so large it would take someone like me with a hormone imbalance forever to get into keto. (but of course if you buy her products .... )
She continues to repeat herself throughout the chapters, I thought I had hit rewind a couple of times going back several chapters, but I had not.
I went online to check out several of the supplements websites she suggested and sadly to say several of the supplements don’t even list ingredients or where the product is made.
I was saddened by this book because I do like Dr. Cabeca. No I’ll-will, just disappointed.
