Publisher's summary

Two years after his wife’s death, oceanographer and former navy SEAL, Atticus Young attempts to reconcile with his rebellious daughter, Giona, by taking her on the scuba dive of a lifetime - swimming with a pod of peaceful humpback whales in the Gulf of Maine. But the beauty of the sea belies a terror from the deep - a horrific creature as immense as it is ancient. There is no blood, no scream, no fight. Giona is swallowed whole by the massive jaws. Only Atticus remains to suffer the shame of the survivor and his inconsolable grief turns to an unquenchable thirst for revenge. Drawn by the spectacle, Trevor Manfred, a ruthless billionaire, approaches Atticus with a proposition: Trevor will make available all the advanced technology of his heavily armed mega-yacht, the Titan, to aid Atticus in his death-quest. In return, Trevor is to receive the beast’s corpse as the ultimate hunting trophy. But in the midst of the hunt, Atticus makes a terrifying discovery that changes the way he sees the ocean’s creatures and begs the question: What is Kronos? The answer sets him on a new and much more deadly course.

Excellent

This was an excellent book written by the king of SYFY. If you enjoy crazy stories that have some historical truths then this is the book for you.

What a phenomenal book!

I loved this. What if one of the crazy beasts mentioned in the Bible was still alive? What if it ate your daughter? This was an amazing story. I loved it. I loved the references to Bible history. Don't get me wrong, this is a monster book about a man who needs to save his daughter. It's an action packed book and Kafer does his usual magic bringing it to life. I would recommend this book to anyone.

In the belly of the beast

Kronos ain't your typical fish tale. In his typical fashion, Jeremy Robinson crafts an incredible story filled with complex characters, crazy intense action, and one heck of a story. Though categorized as the 5th book in Jeremy's Origins series, the books do not need to be read in order, and are more or less stand alone adventures. Off the top of my head I don't recall there being any recurring characters. Jeremy's sea monster Kronos makes the megalodon look like a guppy, but this is no mindless killing machine. But when the sea creature seemingly swallows his daughter, retired Navy SEAL Atticus Young vows to get revenge on the beast but his journey for vengeance ends up being even more incredible than he could ever have imagined.

As always Jeffrey Kafer delivers a knockout performance, his narration kept me throughly engaged from start to finish.

Not Bad

Interesting take on a biblical story and changed to fit more modern times. Of course, this is part of the reason I prefer Robinson’s books in the first place. Good job!!!

Kronos!

Kronos by Jeremy Robinson pulled me in from the very beginning with its opening scene. My mind kept subtly playing the theme to Jaws. I loved how the narrator, Jeffrey Kafer, built the tension that was about to happen. The story moved along very well and kept me engaged. I could envision so many details. I liked the parallel to the story of Jonah and the whale. The performance by Jeffrey Kafer was well done in this book, His emotions were spot on. Thank you to the author, narrator, or publisher for allowing me to review this audiobook at my request.

Solid Sea Monster Tale

I'm a huge Jeremy Robinson fan and this was title was not among my favorite stories that he has written. That being said, it is a solid sea monster tale complete with action, romance and plot twists. The narrator is a brilliant storyteller that brings the characters and action to life with just the right cadence and intensity. If you like big monster stories, this audiobook is for you!

The average person might take time to grieve but Atticus plows headlong into the jaws of danger to get revenge on the creature that took his daughter’s life. Will excepting help from a very dangerous billionaire prove to be a fatal mistake. Beautiful story. Not my fav by Robinson, but he certainly never disappoints.

As always, Robinson spins a beautiful tale of heart wrenching tribulations, love, and danger. A seed of religious questioning towards one’s personal belief either in god ,or against god, is woven deeply into this novel. I am left with a feeling of Robinson’s own values/beliefs.. yet he does a fantastic job of allowing the reader to come to his or her own conclusions. I wouldn’t read his books if he was making judgements, or conclusions, on religion. He simply creates beautiful stories, like this one, which allow you to take a step back and truely think about what your own beliefs are. No one can, or should, impose their beliefs upon another person. But we all should take time to reflect upon our own internal thoughts, beliefs, ethics, and morals. Looking at these things objectively is what crafts a good and decent person. And this book will make you question what you believe; in a good way. Much love, as always, for Robinson and all of his wonderful stories.
