Good book, lots of production mistakes

Loved the book. The story was good, personally i wouldn't think all the events would happen in an MMO to someone under level 10. The real problem i had was the numerous mistakes and repeated sentences in the book. While fighting one enemy type he would reference a completly different but similar sounding enemy type in a battle. When speaking with other characters or npc's the voice audio sounds like the old metal gear solid one conversations, which i didnt feel was present in the first book. There were also some pauses at the end of chapters that threw me off. I hope book three fixes alot of these minor production errors, because its a great story. Even my wife, who doesnt like audiobooks, was getting pulled into the story.

I really liked this one. still great character building and over all story. I really love the marching cadence that Hayden Knowles first legion say wean they march. this a really good story with good humor moments and some somber ones. this is one of the best RPGs I have read

this book is amazing

a lot of people complain about the mc dying to long stuns. as a long time mmo player let me go ahead and tell you that that's normal. assassin's gotta assassin and a Commander is basically a npc class anyway. raytak should've had guards with him, and he said so. alright on to the good bits. I have never wanted a book to become a reality more then this series, this concept is beautiful, it makes me hopeful for the future and I love it. I love the characters, totally called that twist at the end btw, good try though. the ghoul Lord was both hatable and pitiable, something that is hard to balance. I like that the plans of some of the 'bad guys' fall apart on their own. everything isn't the MCs doing, and I like that we get light (but not annoying) backstory for the 'bad guys' to remind us they're just people playing a game. It's a game, and that is something that a lot of litrpg and gamelit lose sight of. the genre is full of 'the npcs are so life like I fall in love with them' or 'i have to defend these npcs from the merciless players cause they're people too'. and I like those stories, but this isn't that, and that is refreshing. I love that the npcs die and he deals with that, while allowing that this is a game. a lot of his forces don't even have names, the fact that some do is probably going to be expanded on in a future book. which I'm looking forward to. I can't wait to read the next one, this is what vrmmo litrpg should aspire to.

Better than the first!

As the header suggests, this book was even better than the last! The author is very talented for such a new writer. I loved and I can’t wait for the third to arrive on Audible!

The story continues!

I immediately started listening to this book after i finished the first. The story gets better and better. You get to learn more about the supporting characters and you really start to know and understand them. I even let my son start listing to the story and he thought it was great.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

A must read.

This is an awesome series to add to your litrpg collection. I love the rts elements of the story and that main battle was heart pounding. Reminded me of watching 300 the first time.

Awaiting Book 3

Action packed and well written with more then enough suspense, though the climax could've been better or more interesting. Still fullfilling for a sucker for fantasy tales like myself.
