About this listen

Kandace Miller is a star student who stays on the straight-and-narrow path of her perfectly planned life.

Olivier DeMarche always chooses the shortcut in life, wanting the easy way in and out of every situation.

One room.

Cute!

What did you love best about Lost in Translation?

I thought it was a really sweet story. A little shorter than I normally would have picked, I was glad I gave it a shot. I really liked the extended epilogue.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Lost in Translation?

The little twist at the end was a surprise I didn't see coming. I was wondering how it was going to end.

Which character – as performed by Maren McGuire – was your favorite?

I think she really did a good job on all of them. I thought her voice really matched the age of the characters and she did a really good job with the French!

Any additional comments?

Thank you S. L. Scott for picking me to receive a copy of this audiobook. I might normally have overlooked it just due to length, but really enjoyed the story. I thought it was a very sweet romance and the extended epilogue really tied it all together for me.

A great, quick, sweet and charming read!

I am a huge fan of S.L. Scott. I love her writing, her characters and her stories! She never disappoints! I loved the narration of Lost in Translation audio! This is a quick and sexy story about an American student and a very sexy Frenchman. At just under three hours, this is a quick listen to squeeze in when you have time.

Kandace Miller is a girl with a plan. A plan she follows perfectly. Oliver is a man who lives his life as he pleases. When Kandace finds herself sharing a room with Oliver, it was not what she expected, but it was a nice surprise. Oliver offers to show Kandace around and they spend time getting to know each other. The sparks fly and soon feelings begin to emerge. But when secrets are revealed, can they survive?

This is a great, quick, sweet and charming read. I love the narration and story. A must read/listen from S.L. Scott!

Happy reading!

Review: Lost In Translation

Lost in Translation by S.L. Scott is a quick and sexy read about a college girl, Kandace, her trip to France and stay at a hostel, and they boy she meets that opens her eyes to a different way of seeing the world.

Kandace has planned this trip for what seems like her whole life. Every penny has gone into her week-long trip to France. When the hostel she is staying at overbooks and puts her in a room with a hot french guy instead of having her own room things do not go as she planned.

Told entirely from Kandace's POV, this was a quick read. Sexy, sweet and emotional. A pleasure to read. Enjoy!

Perfect for the dreamy-minded individual

What a sweet little story! Lost in Translation by SL Scott was a delightful listen. I listened to it while cleaning over the last week and it made cleaning go by so quickly. I felt like Scott took me on this tour of Paris while Kandance and Olivier fell in love. Keep in mind this is a short little story with little drama or angst. I felt like it was just this fun, little refreshing night cap. Who doesn’t dream of going to Paris? This is a delightful little trip for all your romantics out there!

This was my first audio by Maren McGuire. I felt like it was a nice narration. Nothing exceptional, but again, a nice little light listen for a couple hours. Lost in Translation is perfect for the dreamy-minded individual.

The Narrator

Sounded like a child! I think this story would have been so much better with duel Narrators. And honestly this story was lacking. I know it was a short story but it was lacking.
