I almost didn’t publish Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends on It. Here I was, a CEO who’d fallen apart after his company failed, writing a book about how loving himself saved him. I thought I’d be a laughingstock and my career would be finished.
But I stepped through the fears and shared my truth with the world. The book went viral. Amazing people all over bought copies for friends and family. For some, this book saved their lives. For others, it was the first time they ever loved themselves.
Many readers and listeners reached out and asked questions. This taught me that, to create lasting impact, I had to go deeper. So, seven years later, here it is. All the questions I received, resolved. My intention is that by the time you finish this new edition, not only will you be committed to loving yourself, you’ll know exactly how to do it. And, most importantly, how to make it last.

Kinda whiny but good message
Some great quotes and topics covered. A little too much on fight the darkness vs embrace the light but I’m sure different people need different focuses. Overall worth the purchase

This is it. This is the step you need to take.
Kamal cuts through all the extraneous theories and gets to the core of what it means to be a human, what it means to be one capable of love. This book has had a profound impact on my self image and how I view myself. It’s also changed my relationships—because once you begin to love yourself, truly and deeply, loving others becomes second nature, the natural next step to interpersonal relationships. Wow. Just wow.
Loved this audiobook! I’ve read a LOT of books like this over the years but this one is so simple. So straightforward. So much from the heart. No BS about manifesting your perfect life. No cheerleading. He doesn’t really go out of his way to convince you of anything. He just tells his story and breaks it down so you can follow his steps. Toward something as simple and beautiful (and necessary) as self love. And if you have that then everything else is just noise. Thank you!
