Publisher's summary

Whoever told Lox magic was safe, was lying.

The time spent clearing the city of Westia was beneficial for all the immortals, making them stronger. But Lox is restless. Not wanting to settle down in the city they were building for the immortals, he leaves the city behind in search of new magic and wanders out in the Shattered Continent.

Lox soon finds himself in the magical city of Mardis Dane. Floating in the clouds, the city is everything Lox hoped it would be, full of magic and mysteries.

But all is not well, and soon unknown forces will ravage this wondrous city...

Good Series...

Great series and love the progression, My Only Complaint would be Ike, There should be no way he steam rolls over people that have put in the hard work for levels and progression. Especially for a Tapped in player that lives in both worlds. Wont say more do to spoilers but still.
Narration is amazing and Cover art is cool. The story is good just wish the villain was not a spoiled rich kid with daddy issues.
Got a whole world of Magic and this is the villain we get sigh.

Good story but...

I enjoyed the story but can't handle hear the mispronounced words especially the ones used so often in the repetitive ability read out. The narrator must be doing it on purpose, how can you narrate a litrpg genre and continually mispronounce the variations of the word vampire its too frustrating for me so gotta drop the series. I did enjoy the story tho sucks but I can't hear vampirism said like that one more time!

Another great hit!

This third book lived up to the hype and I couldn’t be more excited! Now I have to wait till I can afford the next book!

amazing story...

love the trials.. I like and dislike the level up skipping. so it seems like he made it to 100 over the course of the the books. but you don't experience all of his moments and then it seems that some of his realizations are just happening now... but as a gamer you realize so many aspects of games as you progress... it feels like months in the game have made this transitions almost instantaneously happen. .. unopposed to real work life... I'm fine because it would be too long of a story to tell, but at the same time it feels like you miss important parts of progression that an older gamer shouldn't miss. either way I still love this story and I'm intrigued by the irl implications for those characters...

Still going strong. Great story

Still going strong. Great story. Still enjoying this story, but listening to Stat break down is getting old. Though I can tell he's shortening them in this book after the first two books I am starting to phase out when they start. Otherwise like where the story is going.

Great chapter

This is an engaging read that stands out for its strong character development and unique setting. The protagonist is well-crafted, with layers of complexity that make his journey compelling. The author's attention to detail in the characters' personal growth and interactions really drew me in, making me care about their fates and motivations.

One of the most fascinating aspects of the book is the floating city, which adds a fresh and imaginative element to the story. The descriptions of this city are vivid and immersive, making it feel like a character in its own right. The combination of this intriguing setting with well-developed characters made the book an enjoyable and memorable read.

When is the MC going to actually defend his crew

So Ike keeps doing real damage to his crew and loved ones yet all he does is keep sending Ike to respawn. I mean come on, a twisted creep keeps attacking him and at most hes saying go away try again. That's all that is.

He has at least two ways to deal with Ike, USE THEM. Either one learn to use the mindscape and destroy ike's core tree, even as a player it will harm him. Two have the guild master contact his old wetwork contacts and take Ike out back on earth in his pod. Either are valid options, Do SOMETHING!

feels a little stagnant

feels like things are a bit stagnant, not big change since initial, book (which I loved) it seems the focus has shifted from Lox to guild, and not really clear what direction we are headed. also I really don't care for Cleopatra...
