About this listen

What do Gods and demons have in common?

Perhaps nothing, perhaps a lot.

A glimpse into a world where an immortal and a demon partake in a meal while plotting moves that will shake the Middle Kingdom and share gossip of other, more contentious issues.

This is a short story set in the A Thousand Li universe featuring as-yet-to-be-seen characters. This book can be listened to even if you have not followed the main series.

In this book get an opportunity to see that persons path maybe Laden with gifts that are a manifestation of a conversation between Immortals who went to bring balance to a particular circumstance through human beings. I see how Long Wu Ying will see humor in the heavens and how even demonic sects avoid the Dou of dark sects

A quick, fun story; too quick. Under 30 minutes and it should be U$1. That’d be fair. I bought a bunch of these super shorts on sale. I knew I was taking a risk. But this one was bordering on overpriced at around $2. I know lots of children’s titles live in the same cost space, but Tao Wong needs to consider these as fan quickies with easter eggs. Treats really. They should not be exploited as an opportunity to write perhaps a twentieth as much only to charge loyal fans a premium.

Too Short For The Money

This should have been an interlude in a book or part of an epilogue. It had no story but it was short.

I don't get it
