Do many things seem out of reach due to social anxiety?
Anger, fear, frustrations, and all other emotions are part of the human experience. They can make you happy, or they can lead to stress. However, these emotions can be healthy when you experience them as well because they give you lessons to live better.
Negative thinking is designed to make people feel uncomfortable. It creates stress in your body and mind, which is not only distressing but can also lead to health issues that can be chronic. No one wants to feel the stress that comes with negative thoughts, so it is better to escape from them.
To overcome social anxiety and feel confident and to relate to others with comfort and ease, you must know who you are. This includes owning your thinking, emotions, and letting go of the need to please everyone else at the expense of yourself.
The one thing that most people with social anxiety do not seem to recognize as their shortfall is that they place too much importance on their counterparts. By that, I mean that people with social anxiety place too much stock in what others think or what others may say. You can't live your life that way, always wondering if someone else approves your actions or someone else doesn't. You will never be able to get all the people in this world to approve of all your actions all the time. So, if you set those kinds of standards for yourself, you are bound to fall short of it every time.
This life is about making mistakes, learning from them, sharing your thoughts, accepting your faults, and taking things as they are.

I know how to deal with anxious thoughts and feelings, and I know how to feel the fear and do it anyway It does take work but it's worth it. You will find your life changing steadily over weeks and months as you practise the exercises.
