Publisher's summary

After battling creatures of the void in the Voidmare Dungeon, Astrid fused with her new Class—Voidmare.

It answered some questions about her Awakening but left her with many more.

With monsters, corrupt nobles, and pirates conspiring against Astrid’s home ship HMS Rebirth, she heads out onto the great oceans in search of greater strength to weather the coming storms.

Astrid finds herself in a new world, where she meets a strange, psychotic tribe of people who want nothing more than to have their eyes ripped from their skulls.

Will she find the answers she is looking for in that strange land?

Honestly, she’s not sure. But one thing she is certain of: There are a whole lot of monsters to fight.

Book two of an action-packed and often hilarious LitRPG apocalypse series about a young survivor with a craving for adventure and fighting. Perfect for fans of Azarinth Healer and Eight.

gore is nice lol

the only complaint I have is that the narrator pronounced some words different than the first book and there were a few minor mistakes but they are all easy to ignore

What is the narrator even doing?

The story itself is good enough, but I can't get past the narrator.

There are fewer inappropriate pauses than in the first book, but the narrator keeps mispronouncing words and names. Specifically, she repeatedly misspronounces the word leviathan, even though she had no problem with saying it correctly in the first volume. Why and how? If she changed it from incorrect in the first and correct in the second, I could understand. But why is it only wrong in this one? It makes no sense.

great book.

I absolutely love this story and the MC. this author is really good as well. the narrator is not bad, if you can get past the odd pauses. All the complaints about Miss pronounced names of the big bad and a few names is a bit harsh, you can pronounce names differently than they are spelled it happens all the time, also with the big bad I am wondering if she pronounced it that way per the author it would make since as it would be very hard to miss pronounce leviathan. I think...and could be wrong, but I think the people of the world (being post apocalypse) are the ones who pronounce it the way the narrator does, and the narrator just made an error on the first book. but over all great book and we should not judge the pronunciation of names if we do not know if it was meant to be that way or not. unless the author or narrator wants to make a statement saying such we will never know. People just listen to this amazing story and have fun with it. if you can do better then do it and quit judging if you don't have the skill or mental capacity to do what they do. anyways amazing book great job Author and narrator.

Slight cliffhanger

Good book , dont buy into the whole super cliffhanger thing. Yes there is a plot line still going at the end but it's not like it end mode battle or with the big bad showing up. It's more of a clean up not done cliffhanger.

As for narration, mostly fine. My only complaint is the voices for her eyes are so similar that I couldn't tell when it was the MCs voice or not. However they dont have many lines. Less then 10 interactions I'd say.

Absolutely amazing

The book was absolutely amazing. There are moments where she is indecisive, but for the most part, I love her character. I love the effort. I love the writing. I love the story. I can’t wait to hear more and the audio is clear and very good. Well put together. I can’t wait for the next book

That ending is just… ugh

If you hate cliffhanger endings your gonna be disappointed because this one is especially offensive.

if you are a narrator, please learn how to pronounce key words to the story

this narrator was overall good, BUT how the f*** can your possibly pronounce the main baddies name so flippin wrong! it takes you out of the story so bad. how is leviathan possibly pronounced le-ve-athon! and Isabel is pronounced eye-si-bell.

terrible narrator

I love the story. but the narrator ruins it. between the odd pauses, the mispronounced words, the random background noise (airplanes or semi trucks not sure. plus other noises). when the next book comes out I'll purchase it to read it personally if they use the same narrator. I will not listen to any other book narrated by this person.
