I absolutely love this guy. His self hypnosis audio books are so beneficial and helpful in whatever you’re struggling with. I highly recommend this book and others by this author.

I really loved this book. it was helpful in figuring out when my phobia started and why it started. when I discovered this I was able to control it much better

that you can do the hypnosis yourself

I am very fond of this hypnosis for relieving body pain and anxiety. He has a gentle voice which is very soothing. I used this for weeks in conjunction with mindfulness meditation and it has helped me break through some significant pain. The hypnosis laid a foundation for me to learn to breathe, as well as to enjoy just surfing in my body. Whereas some of the minduflness meditations are quite emotionally cathartic, this one teaches the body to relax in order to be able to more able to deal with tough stuff. I go back to this cd all the time. My only criticism is that I wish the last three meditations were on separate tracks as I can never find them when I want and I dont need all the intro that he provides.

Not much into hypnosis, whether on audible books or in live setting, but Gurgevich provides a wealth of useful background information and has a rather calming and self-assured voice. A satisfied customer.

All of his recordings are superb. I wish more were offered on Audible. The meditations are effective at creating well-being. He has a wonderful low, calming voice. I love falling to sleep to these and waking up in a good mood.

I am familiar with Self Hypnosis and this isn't the one to use. The methodology may work but the method of delivery will annoy you not fix your anxiety. Look elsewhere.

Focused more on teaching self-hynosis techniques and/or helping the listener to induce a hypnotic trance.

The book, which I had hoped would guide me into self-hypnosis, was merely a long-winded lecture on psychological concepts I already knew.
