About this listen

Class has begun!

Aspiring alchemist Wanda and her faithful familiar Wumble have successfully secured a spot in the upcoming orientation course, moving one step closer to their greater goal.

With only an informal education in the subject to her credit, the young wizard is overjoyed at the chance to broaden her knowledge. But even a duo with their incredible power faces hurdles ahead.

Wanda must find a way to utilize her oddly willful magic, master an unusually radiant spell, and learn to brew her first true potions.

And though Wumble can only bark encouragement while a potion is in the cauldron, his own talents are essential when hunting for ingredients. Especially when those ingredients are guarded by powerful occorites, among other dangers.

This brand new series from bestseller Drew Hayescontinues with book two!

Roverpowered features a lovable pair of heroes out on their first adventure, learning about both magic and life in a progression fantasy suitable for all ages!

This is a good intermediate section of the story; not quite as cool as the first installment, but great development.

Love Amy Landon

I often suspect the MCs (or authors) of progression series are neurodivergent, but this is the most clearly autistic MC I've seen yet. I love it! I find Wanda extremely relatable. The story itself is also enjoyable and wholesome.

I'm loving the autism

Firstly Amy Landon is a Goddess of narration. Secondly, Drew has found the bridge between stories for youth and complex stories adults require in order to not go insane. My children, both boys ages 10 and 5 love to read. Finding material that is age appropriate and interesting for everyone to listen to together is extremely rare to find. My 5yr old thinks Wumble is a superhero and God. My 10 yr old relates to Wanda and her social struggles. We are all captivated by the world, setting, and character dynamics. This series is one of our absolute favorites! We are rooting for Wanda and her hound!

A story my boys and I love!

It’s a fun little fantasy with an over power dog! It’s way too short the first three books put together would actually make a decent book

Good story, but too short

this is a great story with a great narrator. I wish they were longer, but the story never feels rushed. I can't wait for the next one!

loved the story

Do enjoy hearing about wanda and her hecken good doggo, becoming wizards that help others. Potion making is fun and Wanda is adorable.

Due to narrtions tone I got a lot of 'see spot run' vibes. She still does a good job, just turn down the little kids tone a bit, please. ^^;

Other then that was a fun little tale and look foward to more!

a pleasent cozy adventure despite the narrartor
