Relentless Heavenly Beatdown

I have been loving this series, but the level of unfairness... Hopes get dashed or some heaven sent tribulation crashes down in every book. That's fine, but so much of this book was a relentless and near continuous beatdown. It became tiresome and unpleasant. I lost count of how many times I looked to see how close I was to the end of the book all while hoping this is a one off and the gods back off for a while in the next one. If it wasn't for the storyline and world revelations, I probably would have skipped past a good chunk of this one.

Constant action

M.H does it so well the writing is almost poetic in how it flowes. Poor Alex is always drawing the short straw but with a friend and benefactor like Waifu god of chaos and indomedable will to survive it just workes. defenetly in my top 5 as a series goes

good book

I enjoyed book 4 of this series so far, it is progressing decently, my only grip i have is he keeps only using the same 2 moves he learned in book 1... in all 4 books he still is only using those moves mainly, but other then that it's a great book.

my god

I can't tell you how much I liked this book but I love it I hope you do too because it is amazing this book really this book really shows how well a western cultivation book can do and I really hope all of you and more / Islip say all of you but I recommend anybody who really likes to enjoy a real book / book that will pull you in hopefully you will love this as much as I do it is Extreme how much I love this book and this last book just went above and beyond how much I really love this book and our series I'm sorry it's the series that is really impressive I know there's more books on cultivation but this one is one of them or all of the best books out there to this date hopefully I personally can create something close to this book because I am writing a book built off multiple cultivation books

Another fun installment for the series

This one did not take us to where I thought it would and I was pleasantly surprised. Plus more info is shared about the Gods... Very excited for the next in the series.

Narrator was dope, too.

I get now

The majority of reviews for this book talk about how they hate how Alex looses everything at the end of every book and it’s show and rubbed in your face at the end of this book, I plan to continue the series but be aware that this book goes out of its way leave Alex with nothing and no one that whole his cultivation isn’t lost he has nothing but his clothes and a useless copper band.

Long winded

OK, I like the book, but God, why all the long-winded explanations. I mean, there were like 3 times when the book gave a 30 min summary of all other books while the MC is just about to begin, the middle, or end of a fight.

Worst one so far

It's hard to give a review without spoilering anything since my major complaints are story related. The author uses karmic ties inconsistently seemingly just to give one more problem for the protagonist. That's just a symptom of a bigger issues. I know they are building on the whole "growth through strife" but it is being done poorly IMO.
