EXCELLENT

As a 40 year old woman this book is one the most influential and informative messages I have ever read. It is straight forward. To the point and EXTREMELY necessary for me to understand as I am choosing to move forward in my life and grow. I don’t want to hand my debilitating insecurities down through my family tree. I want my legacy to be the one who broke the curse of insecurity once and for all. That my children will know they have purpose and can stand firm in their values. To be strong, loving, and courageous in thier lives as adult men!

Really simple help

Adam Smith doesn’t waste any time. He doesn’t repeat the same points over 283993 chapters just to pad his book to an impressive length. He is just simply helpful.

Harsh but useful

what i disliked about the book was that I am too relatable to the people who are needing help. what I liked about the book is that there is practical advice that I can use now.

Thoughtful advice for insecure personalities

Most of the advice here is timely and applicable. Chapter 7 felt preachy, with a good message however, it's just a striking departure from the rest of the book.

JD Ledford narrates magnificently. Incredible performance! And whoever edited the audio really knows what they're about!

Great Start for working on Attachment Issues

I first heard of Adam Smith on the Mikhaila Peterson Podcast and was very impressed with his insight. I wanted to learn more so I bought this book and his other one and was not disappointed. This book is very insightful and helpful for anyone struggling with insecurity and attachment issues. Highly recommended for anyone who is struggling in relationships, be in family, friend or martial. My husband and I began implementing a lot of his suggestions and almost immediately found some peace in areas we were struggling.
