pragmatic and includes easy navigation for exercises
The methods outlined in this wonderful book are so unbelievably easy to use that I found myself benefiting almost immediately.
I loved that the tapping and exercises (meditations, etc) were marked as their own chapters for easy navigation.
I will use this audiobook often as part of my daily spiritual and mindset practice!!
I feel empowered by pragmatic knowledge that I can actually use, instead of relying on the talk therapy that honestly wasn’t helping much.
Ultimately, I am glad that I dived into this book and would recommend it. :)

A Must-Read for Survivors of Trauma
I'm fairly new to the topic of Somatic Trauma Therapy, but over the past few months I've done some research and I've come to realize that many day-to-day living experiences of a couple of my family members are essentially hijacked by the traumas of their past. This book is an in-depth introduction to understanding the different types of therapies which can be utilized for trauma recovery; I especially appreciate that each type is described well and DIY exercises are given to allow those interested to experience the basics of those therapies in the privacy of their own home.
Based on what little I knew about Somatic Healing and the research I had done before listening to this book, I believe this author has provided a treasure chest of insights to give readers an opportunity to tackle their issues in a self-directed way--something that is often a lot less intimidating than the thought of tackling such things with a therapist. I intend to have a couple family members read this too--it is an excellent resource.

The World Needs This Book!
I had never heard of Somatic Healing before encountering this book. As I went through it, I tried some of the exercises which comprised moving my body, breathing, tapping, and thinking. I did feel better. The book does explain that it cannot heal all things like broken bones or extreme open wounds. Yet, it does cover many issues that nearly everyone I know has. For that alone, I love this book and recommend it to all.

A different approach
Somatic Trauma Healing
The At-Home DIY Crash Course in Experiencing True Body Awareness Through Somatic Secrets Anyone Can Do & Insider Techniques Your ... (Sound Healing and Somatic Mindfulness): This book offers insight on diffident modalities in your healing process. This approach may work for some who have experienced trauma but I would also recommend this as an adjunct form of therapy and not singular. However a great start!

Thank You for this Healing Guide!
I had no idea the traumas experienced in my life could affect me so profoundly. I feel as though I finally have a better understanding of why my body seems to be falling apart. More importantly I am empowered by the clearly written exercises designed to help release the trauma so I can move forward!

Well-researched and insightful
This book was an eye-opener about how important it is to learn to become better mindful, particularly when dealing with life. I like that the information is both practical and scientific. There were simple-to-follow concepts that I could do myself without the help of a therapist. Although some issues do require more professional expertise, I find that using self-help books such as this one can help you through it. Before reading, I didn't know what somatic therapy was, but after reading, I can now know how to handle stress better. I didn't realize how much trauma can be linked to health conditions, but I'm grateful for the understanding of using somatic therapy to help combat these conditions.
I also appreciate the bonus guided meditations and the pdf included.

Amazing Resource!
"Somatic Trauma Healing" is my introduction to this topic. The book is formatted in a very easy and comfortable way for the reader to follow. I had no idea that my past traumas have been influencing me so profoundly. I practiced some of the somatic techniques offered and I felt much better. The author give you easy to follow exercises that I am going to include in my self improvement routines. This book is enlightening and practical. Highly recommend!
