A good book but better read than listened to

This book has great information, tips, meal plans and exercise plans. The first part of the book was fine as an audio book, the second part was tedious with long lists and repeated words ("see chapter 14", "see the bonus materials", etc) that wasted time and felt frustrating. I wish I would have skipped the audio purchase and just gotten the Kindle version.

A step in the right direction

As a whole food, plant-based consumer, I thought this was pretty good for the beginner. However, I was not pleased with its promotion of the use of oil and its focus on this vs. that eating (how do you not promote regular potatoes?!) was not only inaccurate but too specific for the general beginner. Overall, it was good, I have just read better.
