What did you love best about The Fast Metabolism Diet?
I did like that the diet was so detailed and easy to follow. The science behind it was explained and based on research (some times)How could the performance have been better?
While there is some science backing to the diet, i really hated how some of the book is so unscientific. The "don't believe in calories" part discredited the author in my eyes. Also, having done a month of the diet, and achieved significant results (~10kg lost) i really doubt that the result comes from the cycling of foods. I generally believe that the result comes from the massive food group restrictions (that do make sense) and i challenge the author to do a legit research with a control that eats a similar diet , but without the cycles. i bet the results will be absolutely the same.If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
