Get control back in your life

This book really spoke to me. Feeling overwhelmed? Yes. Burnt out? Yes. Craving less chaos? Yes and yes. This book had some good tips for how to gain more control in my life and not always feel like everything is going crazy around me. I like the productivity tips especially. If I can be more productive (and prioritize) it will make me feel so much better. This book is a great resource for anyone else who feels like I did.

Moreover the author has done a great job by covering many of the most important topics, including how to address and resolve problems of burnout, how to establish healthy boundaries, how to say no, and much more! Yhe most fascinating part is it will provide you a 30-day plan with effective exercises to overcome burnout and to live a happy and calming life. Loved it

If you feel overworked and want to learn how to create some peace in your life this book is for you. I loved that it goes over how to find purpose in your work something that most people fail to do. Additionally, it goes over how to say "no" and put your mental health first. I think everyone in the work force should check this out.

Just want I needed

I needed this book more than I ever could have thought. I am an entrepreneur trying to get my business up and running but also working a full-time job and raising 2 kids who have ADHD. In total, I am working 75-80-hour weeks trying to get my new business up and running and going to my day job. The burnout is real. I am exhausted. One thing that this book really reminded me of is if I do not take care of myself and take the time to replenish then I am actually expending more energy because the effort is greater. For others, they may not realize why they are feeling the burnout and so the book helps them to understand where the burnout may be coming from. Sometimes we think everything is fine, nothing is standing out as a major issue but yet we are still exhausted and have nothing to give.

I really needed to hear Chapter 6 which helped me learn how to address and resolve my problems contributing to burnout including, emotional regulation. I have learned that I need to establish healthy boundaries and learn that it is okay to say no to things that may cause me more harm than good. A lot of us want to help others whenever possible but fail to realize how it impacts our own well-being as well. As a parent, the book helped me realize that instead of showing my kids how much I can accomplish and how busy I am, it's also important to show them what it means to take care of myself and why it is important.

Great book by this author and I hope many more people listen to this book because we all could use a break :)

Burnout can significantly affect our lives in which we might be unaware of the negative implications it has or might do to us. With the help of this book, we will be able to eliminate burnout once and for all. I love how the author provides practical ways to effectively fix burnout.
