Publisher's summary

A paintball battleground. A wrestling mat for sleep-deprived new daddies. A feminine product aisle in the local drugstore. These are some of the places where men connect...at least in The Bromantic Comedies.

A compilation of humorous and heartfelt plays exploring what it means to be "masculine" in a world where men are supposed to be tough.

Hysterical

OMG it feels good to laugh. I was in the mood for some fun so decided to have a re-listen to this audio. Gotta hand it to Erin Mallon, she knows how to make you laugh. Some seemingly totally inane short plays but under all that humor some had serious undertones. Especially loved hearing my favorite narrators acting so crazy and obviously having fun. Bloopers at the end a nice finish. Now waiting for The Bromantic Comedies II that I read is in the works. Super!!

what?? speechless. lol.

there are several books out there, that u gotta be sure to not be in public when you read, or eating/drinking while listening (reading) ... this would be one of those books .. not for kid ears ... i am curious how the author came up with ideas for this listen? i did see it was a good price, so i grabbed it up, so fun ... oh i know what i was saying, brain fart .. lol. there is one narrator i am shock was not include in this amazing MAN group ...he was missed. just saying. no point in saying his name but he was missed. there are so great MEN in this group. i think i would remind you, gosh not sure how to say that properly ... use your imagination ...

Amazing plays and fabulous narration

Wow! Erin has delivered another fantastic play. The Bromantic Comedies are funny and amazing. I laughed so, so much and also got a bit emotional when one hit close to home. The all-male cast of narrators are some of the best in the business and they definitely brought their A-game and hit it out of the park.

✫✫ 4.5 Stars ✫✫

Erin Mallon does it again! She has turned me into a huge fan of Audio Plays! This Audio Play has 6 short 10 minute stories and they are all so unique, funny and so witty. Each Play is completely different and each one has it's own eye opening meaning layered underneath all the comedy and outrageousness. I enjoyed them all so much but I have to say Domesticated was probably my favorite because I laughed so much but when it was over I felt like I got it completely. I will be listening to this Audio Play over and Over again for sure.

Now let's discuss this incredible cast of narrators!!! Joe Arden, Jason Clarke, Shane East, Lance Greenfield, Teddy Hamilton, PJ Ochlan. 6 amazing narrators mixed and matched so well and they ALL do an awesome job at playing off each other. I loved all of them in this work but I also watched a Live chat with Erin Mallon and each of these narrators on Instagram (@mallonerin) and I loved this even more once I heard these guys talk about the plays they narrators and what they thought of the characters and the meaning of each play. So much fun!!!

An earful!!! Will leave you in stitches!!

Lauren Blakely fans, this is a treat! No, not her work, but so many of her great voice over artists have come together to bring these skits to life. Erin's writing is superb. The skits will leave you howling. (operate heavy machinery with caution.) enjoy!!

Wow! This was definitely a new and wonderful experience for me. Erin Mallon and all these superb male narrators wrapped into one is a true audible gift. These stories were fantastically profound with such great comedic twists. Some even very touching. So glad I was able to listen to this. Erin Mallon is a true talent. And the love that I have for these narrators has grown exponentially. Wow! This is a collaboration made in heaven; and definitely every audible fan’s dream. Don’t hesitate to pick this one up. It’s so great! Bravo!

so much fun!

I absolutely loved listening to this. Short little stories that made me laugh out loud. Each one funnier than the next...... baby fight club is probably my favorite. Erin Mallon is one of my favorite "audio ladies" to listen too. she put together a great cast of my favorite "audio guys" I love to listen to. I must disclose I did win a free copy of this audio but would totally be worth the purchase.

so much good in such a small package

How did such short plays give me so many feels? Wow. This set of shorts was funny, sad, thought provoking and just overall amazing. I was left wanting to know more about these characters. I want to see their next move. All six narrators were amazing. They all played two very different characters and they did then flawlessly. I am a huge fan of all these men, but I have to single out Lance Greenfield for my MVP. He blew me away. Erin Mallon has one again delivered fantastic material and gave it to the perfect cast to perform. So good.
