About this listen

Gamer Andrey continues his travels through the world of Arktania, mastering the ability to handle electrical energy and developing his unusual profession, glassblowing. Having received an epic quest from Elenia, the Goddess of Fate, he discovers to his shock that her power is not constrained within the game. Now the virtual Goddess follows Andrey in real life as well, threatening his life if he should fail to complete the tasks she assigns him.

There's no turning back. More than that, to be honest, he's beginning to like Arktania with all its residents, its puzzles, and its adventures.

Alas, completing the Goddess's tasks is not so simple—necessary artifacts are hidden in high-level locations, and the Loner curse means that Andrey will never be able to gather a group around himself and share his burdens. His only option is to seek help from his acquaintances in the Steel Rats clan—but how, as a low-level player, will he be able to pay them back?

Man I NEVER say this but the MC in this story completely destroys the entire story! He’s dumb and spends soooo much time fawning over a nearly married woman and beefing with her fiancé. The story will be going great and then bam “I hope I get to see her today”. Then it’s “wow, it looks like they’re planning to betray me. Let me tell you them my entire plan. Oh no they betrayed me. I’m so upset.” So much potential here but damn…

Almost Great

unfortunately the Russian culture of sexism and incel mentality really lowers the quality of this story. I am glad that I didn't pay money and will not be spending money on this story in the future.

This creep keeps making problems for himself. Not doing obvious things just to whine about it later. His solutions are knee-jerk, basic and idiotic. Every single one is obviously bad and typically does leads to a worse situation. With is most of the plot. This idiot would be surprised that fire could burn. Also kind of a coward who makes constant excuses for it. Can’t keep his mouth shut about secrets introns or people whoever betrayed him. He acts like a whiny idiot and constant tangents on pointless stuff. It’s already a short book.

He is so frustrating. Oblivious to basically everything, even his own knowledge. Consistent string of him being a complete and utter idiot. He whines so much. I tried to finish the last two hours, but I couldn't stand it any longer. Glad it was a free listen with my subscription.
