Story
There’s a HUGE problem in the commercial real estate business that nobody is talking about - DUE DILIGENCE. Investors are leaving big money on the table by not learning these essential principles. Most investors, real estate brokers, and commercial real estate professionals barely scratch the surface conducting their due diligence. Mainly because "they don't know what they don't know". I’ve spent more than 30 years helping investors buy and sell more than 9 million square feet of properties and witnessed the practices of professional and small investors.

Story
Real estate shifts are easier to recognize than they are to acknowledge. One day job growth is beginning to stall and, seemingly overnight, vacancies are on the rise. Tenants start asking to downsize. Commercial property valuations level off. Negative news stories feed the worries of buyers and tenants. New development halts. Fear creeps in. Then, the market that was quietly losing ground goes into full retreat as tenant delinquencies turn into owner delinquencies and lenders sever lines of credit.

Quit running your investment property under the influence of "hopeium"; that delusional state under which you believe everything will work out fine without putting forth any effort or thought into creating value with it. That's the way most investors approach their investment property. Without a strategy for increasing value with your property's management plan is just taking the "lottery" approach. The fundamentals remain the same for the most part, when it comes to adding value and leasing.

A Wall Street Journal best seller! There is a major difference between being a salesperson in business and being in business as a salesperson. Being successful in sales has a lot to do with what's on the inside of a person, and the person's ability to establish and foster loyal relationships.

Passionate and Practical!
I walked away from this book with a sense of how I could make my workflow smoother, more efficient, and employ tools that create long term success, all presented in Thrive. However, what I enjoyed most was Blaine’s passion for people and desire to train them. His teaching gifts come across clearly. Can’t wait for the next book!

"Understanding and adjusting to the Real Estate Market."
“Even though I focus on the sale of residential real estate, there were a lot of applicable ideas in Thrive. In our industry, agents must grasp that we operate a business. This means that functioning at an elevated standard is crucial to our success. This book has been carefully crafted to guide you through the challenges you will face as you strive toward raising your game.”

Quick and to the point. Great fix for mediocre performance.
What a great kick in the pants. Too many people fail and they KNOW they are failing but don’t know what to do about it. The way this book is laid out which diagnoses the problem and offers the solution in 10 easily digestible sections is perfect. Blaine gets to the point quickly and offers practical and real guidance to get over yourself and make a change. If you heed his words your productivity will go through the roof and you will be more successful than you have ever been. Great read!
