Interesting Book
I got this book becuase I know I had heard several people mention they thought fasting may be a good idea for me. I have read about several version of fasting but never water fasting. I don't drink much other than water so the idea of this was interesting to me.
At first, I found this book very interesting. They author goes into benefits, side effects, types, lengths, religious practices, and much, much more. I found this all very interesting. I found though as the book went on it started to sound a bit repetative. Overall a very interesting book and I may try this fast for a day as I have tried a few others to see how it compares.
If you do your research, and water fasting sounds like it may be for you, it is worth a listen.
The vast majority of this book is about water fasting types, length, background, etc, and about 30 minutes actually dedicated to how to do it.
I know that the author has to cover their butt by saying talk to your doctor, but I feel this book wold be 30 minutes shorter as it seems to appears at least once a paragraph. I know this can benefit many, but it can also harm many, but again, just overly repetative.
There is also a bonus book sneak peak at the end of this recording on eating and mental clarity. It sounds very interesting and I will probably give it a listen when it comes out.

I’m very happy with this book!
I liked this audiobook very much. I felt it presented the information thoroughly and in a way that kept me interested. The facts on the anatomy and physiology of the brain as well as the information on autophagy was fascinating and seemed comprehensive; since I fast, the details were a welcome help. I also liked the performance by Katie Slezak. I will listen to this again.
