I love the thought of holistic weight loss!
I always believe in a holistic way in anything. Unless it is a risk to your health, then you need surgery. But why wait too long to do it until it is too late. Sometimes, people regain weight after surgery also. So it is not always the best solution. However, I like this book because it gives so many resources and information that you can learn and find ways to lose weight naturally instead of surgery.

Straightforward guide to weight loss
I've read and listened to numerous books on weight loss, and most of them have the same formula for success. But, this book breaks the mold by offering the listener a recipe for a lifestyle change. I was surprised to learn that over 70% of American adults are overweight. While the reasons for this are complex, the author suggests that stress is directly linked to obesity, which is especially true today. I particularly enjoyed using the book to create my roadmap for success. I plan on reviewing this book and my plan often to make sure that I'm on track with my diet. But, if you want a more than diet and exercise book, this is for you.

All you need to know about the Bariatric procedure
This audiobook is very helpful in understanding bariatric wls. I particularly enjoyed chapter 7 "What to expect, Before and After" as it answered many people's questions about what to expect before and after the surgery. Importance of mind and body connection
"GPS" was very well written and narrated. I particularly like the section on affirmations and how important it is to have the mind and body connect when looking into weight loss. Stress and even happy thoughts can be triggers to eating more and eating unhealthy food. The technical aspects of the book were easy to understand. I understand that bariatric surgery can have life-long health issues that I was not aware of.

Listen before you make any decisions!
I gifted this to my friend that has been talking about Bariatric surgery for a few months now but I have been skeptical about the idea. This audiobook has been a beacon of knowledge for both of us. There are so many things you need to consider and it has really opened our eyes. I love the chapter with The 4 steps to lasting success but the whole book is well worth a listen if you are even considering going down this root. Well written and narrated too.
