It got better!

I hated this at first. I struggled with the peppy, cheerleader sound of the author reading her book. But I hung in there and got past it. The actual content is good and laid out well. Explained yoga concepts in a today-relevant way. Maybe a bit heavy on mom-talk for me, but still a worthy listen.

Hire a narrator!!

Why do authors insist on narrating their own books?! Brett inserts a weird laugh in the middle of a sentence where’s there’s nothing amusing at all and it was very annoying and distracting. Even when she’s not doing that her narration was awful. If there’s anything to be gained from this book for me it will have to be from the printed version.

Everything! It was such a great uplifting informative and ignited my soul 🩵

Oh my word! This was one of the best things I’ve listened to. I really cannot explain it. I never thought I was a yogi but I am and this audible and Brett’s training and sessions have made me realise I have it deep rooted within me all along. I couldn’t wait to get in the car and run errands just so I could listen to it. Brett really did deliver

So much more than just a yoga book. Powerful, enabling and intuitive.

I absolutely love this book. It’s brilliantly and thoughtfully crafted and is helping me, not just on the mat, but in life. This is more of a customized life skills book, that goes beyond the mat and into your true authentic self. I can’t wait to hone in on my new skills that this book has helped me to develop, so I can live my best life. THANK YOU!

Informative

I enjoyed the narration very much. I found the book to be very informative but needed to get the paperback copy for all the notes I wanted to make and the rereading I needed to do. The audio was a sale purchase so I didn’t mind.
