if its not broken don't fix it

I loved the story, as I do with all of Stephanie's books. But I very well could have done with just Rebecca Soler.

A Magnificent Conclusion (?)

This was one of my most highly anticipated books this fall and it did not disappoint! I listened in one day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Stephanie Garber sure does love keeping us on the edges of our seats up until the last moment, but I must say it was worth it. Can’t wait to see what other magical stories she has up her sleeve 💚

Aahhhhh so worth the wait.

This book was my favorite of the trilogy. Usually people like the first book in a series because it’s the one that gets them pulled in. But I will forever determine my love for a series by the last book.

This one was just so well put together. The story, the plot, the climax, the characters. Only thing I want to know now is, what’s going to happen with all of the other characters!! I have so many questions. Hopefully Stephanie gives more about all of them!!

I’m going to miss Jacks 🍏🍎

The performance was great! I’m going to miss Eva and Jacks, I feel like there were some plots holes not answered and would of loved to hear more Jacks POV

Marvelous!

A beautiful conclusion to another amazing story by Stephanie Garber! And another fantastic narration by Rebecca Soler-- Please, never stop narrating! You bring life to a story like no other, and I am always INSANELY happy when I see your name as the narrator!

Once Upon a Broken Heart will forever be one of my favorite trilogies! I adore Jacks and Evangaline, and your storytelling transported me to the wonderful world of the Magnificent North once again. I would love more books in this universe, maybe even about a certain LaLa? *eyebrows raised* *fingers crossed*

Lastly and this part is very slightly a spolier... maybe? Idk. But just incase, don't read:

WHAT ARE THE APPLES ABOUT?!?!

Thank you for your beautiful story telling mind. Please never stop writing!

Great ending

This was great - not as good as the second book, but still a really enjoyable ending and for the most part all I could have asked for. I hope they answer the open questions in the next series though.

Unfortunately, the male narrator kind of ruined the audio experience for me. The female narrator does such an amazing job at everything, and it would have been perfect if the whole thing was read by her like the previous books, but then there's zero continuity with the voices/intonation or anything when the guy reads. Plus, he sounds like middle-aged, and the characters are supposed to be pretty young. He's a fine narrator, and I'm sure i would have no complaints if it was a stand-alone book by him, but it's horrible next to the original narrator.

Engaging and sweet

Definitely parts that could have been developed further, but a fun and gripping story nonetheless.

Addition of male narrator...BAD idea

I've highly enjoyed this series and the world that Stephanie Garber has created. I appreciate a love story with substance! Thank you!

My only negative comments are for the change in the narration from books 1 & 2. Rebecca Soler as the sole narrator of book 1 & 2 was perfect and I loved her performance in bringing this world to life. But book 3 has the addition of Dan Bittner narrating chapters for Apollo and Jacks.....ugh....I CRINGE every time he starts speaking. It's like he never listened to Rebecca's previous narrations to even TRY to match what she had done for these characters. It's so confusing and unfortunately ruined the world that Rebecca's performance brought to life. Dan's narration is comical and overly dramatized and extremely distracting. It's like I'm listening to two different stories.

In the future, PLEASE keep the same narrator throughout the entire series. Highly disappointment in the performance change on this one.

Amazing!

Special shout out to the narrator that made this story come alive. the story flows so well that before I knew it I got to the end. just when you think you know who the villains are jk no you don't. this story overall was just perfect in my mind. I will say that the FMC is probably the MOST reckless, naive, in love with the idea of love character I've had the pleasure of reading about BUT she's also 17-18 throughout the series so it's understandable. so even if there were parts where I cringed a bit or said to myself "that's a terrible idea" etc... I still loved it because the last thing a love sick teenage girl is, is rational.
