Amazing read

I find myself returning to and referencing this book often. I’ve listened all the way through the book a good amount of times and I’m sure that I will listen at least a few more. 10/10 recommend.

a lecture from an old dusty lecture hall

I had a long drive that my wife and I were taking together. We teed this audio book up first. We both were very interested in the topic and feel like listening is a critical skill everyone needs help with. We listened to Active Listening for about 30 minutes when we both agreed the presentation of the information simply was not engaging at all. A metric ton of theory backed up with studies from the 1930s and 1950s. I realize communication doesn't change much but holy cow. I had tuned out within the first 10 minutes.
