Phenomenal!
Other reviewers find Dr. Rossman's voice monotone and boring. I wholeheartedly disagree. I suffer from severe anxiety, and have listened to this recording daily for the last four months. I'm now able to go into a state of deep relaxation from the moment he begins to talk. I find his voice soothing and reassuring.
The exercises have given me practical skills to deal with my fears and "What if..." way of thinking. I've found realistic ways to cope effectively with the things I worry so much about, things that swirl endlessly in my mind and have plagued my thoughts for a long time.
With practice, I've found that the solutions I've found carry over to situations as they pop up in my day-to-day life. The trick is making the commitment to solve issues and use the exercises daily even when it seems inconvenient, or when facing the fears you're used to sweeping under the rug is uncomfortable. Realize that it is a process.
My daily life has improved immeasurably.

This newbie to meditation enjoyed it. Damn!
Very relaxing. His voice is perfect for this field. Damn! Blah blah blah I can't believe this is require me to write a minimum # of words. Now I'm all stressed out again. Must listen to the book again. Damn!

I did not resonate with this session. I could not get engaged with the guidance. I either had to listen to the voice or "talk" to my body or "Intelligence" , but it is impossible to do both as suggested. The words were irritating me for some reason, it felt generic and rushed. No suggestion were given if you do not connect with anything , your inner voice intelligence, etc. Lots of words that just serve no purpose and should have been omitted. I ended up agitated, not relaxed.

terrible too long boring
Phew! The worst. In this decade of increasing zombies, this one makes me a believer, in zombies I mean. Wow, astonishing example of relaxation technique taken to the extreme. Who could listen to more than 20 seconds of this without falling dead asleep?

Very basic
This is a very basic audiobook for anxiety. It's almost like the narrator has a script and a stopwatch as he slowly talks about relaxing. Kind of goes "now your breathing deeper.......and deeper....and really deep." Not my cup of tea but to others it may be. Thought narrator was very monotone and boring. Maybe that was the point of this audiobook to have the narrator put you to sleep. Sorry for my honest review. Hopefully I don't hurt feelings
