Wonderful resource!

Kara Lawrence has done a great job in demystifying how to create and be a part of a great relationship. People tend to emphasize their partner’s wrongdoings when problems occur, which may be an eye-opener to some. My key takeaway is that you need to work on yourself in order to be able to bring good to any relationship. Know yourself, your past and your triggers. For example, your fears and past traumas can cause jealousy and mistrust in your partner even though they haven’t done anything to lose your trust.
The good news is that this book contains positive coping skills. We need to ask ourselves, what can I bring to the relationship, and how can I offer my very best to my partner?
The author talks about love languages and practicing words of kindness. Above all, aim to be happy, not right.
I highly recommend this book to individuals and couples who are looking to become and offer a better version of themselves to others.

Excellent food for thought!

helped us communicate better

This book really opened my eyes to how we could improve our communication as a couple. It broke down common issues in a way that made sense, and we’ve already started using some of the tips.
