About this listen

Safe for the moment, Thorn and Velin are faced with a choice …

Hide among the cruel Deva, or forge a path that will require all their skill and wit, unlocking the ancient paths of power hidden in the Titan bloodline.

Ahead of them lies Intra Mundum, an endless test that requires courage, strength, and most importantly, strong bonds. As they begin to explore the floors of the tower with a hastily thrown together team, Thorn and Velin will find they have a much stronger connection than they first realized.

With old friends and new enemies showing up on his doorstep, Thorn quickly realizes that life in the upper worlds is much more complicated than it seemed, and even world shaking strength isn’t enough to protect against the machinations of the ancient factions surrounding him. Together, he and Velin must prepare to welcome their friends from Angoril, figuring out a way to divert the attention of power hungry challenger clans and the bloodthirsty god beasts.

Arcanist is the third book in the Tower Series, a GameLit/LitRPG series from Seth Ring, bestselling author of Battle Mage Farmer and the Titan series, set in the world of Nova Terra and starring the unforgettable Thorn. If you like immersive storytelling, rich fantasy, and epic adventures with a slice of friendship thrown in, you’ll love this thrilling series.

Another amazing book! But to be honest, really come to expect nothing less! Patiently waiting for the next one!

Great Series!

I love how big the world (worlds) are in these books! Every type of creature, magic, story lines and characters. It’s a lot of fun and does what books are meant to do, take you away for a while.

Loved it!

I truly enjoyed this listen. In terms of the Towers series, this one is defiantly a home run!

The best one yet!!!

There is so much that has to happen in the story of Thorne that it some of the book feels rushed, but it’s understandable that the story needs to be told.

Good Follow up, but IMO this book should have been 2 books.

Likes: Character development, Thorn didn't hover around a certain level too much. He was clever with his magic, strength, and domain. This allowed him to defeat or go toe to toe with higher level advisories. The pacing was mostly good, some idle chapters but more on that later. Now, I didn't read the Nova series some of the characters and plot elements I didn't understand but that's no fault of the author.

Dislikes: The enemies, like the tower Guardian 1 I think having this beef with Thorn for new reason. The God beast who lost, but still had a bone to pick with Thorn that led to their demise. Some of the characters turned out to be cowards Thorn was going to climb the tower with. The love story slowed the story down abit. Letting his companion become more powerful caused some idle spots. Thron talking to his master and visiting the Church with a Dragon synthesizer went nowhere. Thorn has made enemies with just about everybody who wasn't his friends. With that said, this book is a 4.6, so I'm giving it a 5.

Slow at parts but overall an excellent story

Thorn you slick giagantic son of a gun. You keep getting more outlandish with every tale and I love it.

It just keeps getting better!

The worst thing about this book is the fact that I'll need to wait again for the next one.
I can't even explain how excited I got when I realized a certain character came back to the story mid book.
I can actually feel how Seth is getting better and better at writing this story, tower fixes a lot of the few things that is missing in the nova Tera series, making thorn less OP and actually struggle sometimes yet still Absolutely awesome.
Love it, please keep the coming and feed my hunger for more.

Absolutely amazing.
