About this listen
The fourth book of Guardian of Aster Fall!
Astral threads cut across the world, drawing Sam to them like a fire from the past. He discovers that his new race is intrinsically tied to the Void and the stars.
Meanwhile, hints of the First War are returning to Aster Fall as the dimension trembles. Flaws are appearing more rapidly than ever, putting pressure on cities across the kingdom. In the shadows, dangerous artifacts related to Outsiders reveal a troubling connection. The relic also holds ancient secrets, some of them powerful enough to change the balance of power in the land.
Sam is hard at work building a home for himself and his family, splitting his efforts between repairing the Moonlight Relic and traveling to gather key materials. He is focused on repairing the defenses and stabilizing the Seal, but his heart is drawn to the stars.
Primordial enchantments, crafting, and battles await in the fourth volume of the epic series!

The ancient guardians have left and no one knows where they have gone. The fate of the world lies with one young man. Sam Hastern. His family has been cursed by a broken class for the last fifty years. No one has ever managed to level it, condemning them to the lowest paying jobs and life in a barren village. It’s called Battlefield Reclaimer.

A Good continuation
I'm not sure why this Story doesn't have more attention as it is one of the better LITRPGs, especially if you like a good balance between fighting and crafting.

Another good book.
It is always a delight to sit back and listen to a great book series as the main cast develops and grows. This book is proven to be an excellent advancement in the series. Now I look forward to the next book.

Family feels like a shackle
I will say the premise and Powers in the story are hands down the highlight and every crafting segment is my favorite. what I can't get over however is the very repetitive mentions of how Sam is always watched 24/7. apparently his mom uses her seer powers to constantly watch him on his journey and he has a battalion of golems always around him. there are multiple other instances where it's mentioned people have just hovered around him to make sure he hasn't hurt himself or something but it literally makes me as a listener feel kind of creeped out having someone always watching everything you do as if you'd shatter like a pane of glass any second. and Sam is no different. his idea of protecting his family is to load everyone he remotely cares about with magical gear as if he's trying to ward off an army. and his other idea is to get literally so strong that everyone would crumple like a piece of paper if they so much as looked at Sam's family negatively. other than Sam and family being literal definitions of helicopter parents the story is good and the fight scenes are enjoyable

Good crafting and world building
great story - only hope there is a worth while enemy or threat with all this build up. I feel like Sam gets through most things so far without too much danger. Understandable as he is roughly a God in a lower level world but there are more dangerous foes lining up

Fun
Sam has gotten past the lunar alignment and is now rebuilding the Artifact. His family and friends are helping. He grows in power and height and learns new skills. Assassins come looking to claim a bounty on him and Flaws start appearing at an unprecedented rate. He races to gather powerful items to speed the repair of the Artifact. This accidentally leads him to advance early and he is forced off Asterfall.
This is a great continuation. The pace is smooth and steady. The narrators are awesome. And the mythos and world are enticing. Please enjoy
