Surprises

Below **** was my first reaction
After listening to thi s Book again, I admit its great. This series is certainly memorable. At one point, Mahan says,”I’m tired of all the surprises”, and that’s how I felt. This is exhausting with all the ups and downs, but that’s what makes it relevant, excellent, and lifelike.

****
Wow. I’ve never read a series so good with such a good ending, and then the story is extended to make it so bad.

A bit disappointed

The ending to clans war seemed a bit rushed and abrupt. The final reveal was covered in what seemed like less than 30 minutes of audio content. I’m a bit disappointed but nevertheless I’m a fan of the series and look forward to the next book, if there will be another.

GREAT READ!

So many things going in so many directions, yet all tied together in the end. With a great ending that still leaves room for... a new beginning!

Ready Player One meets fantasy!

Read (listen to) all the previous books! If you haven't you'll miss all kinds of important stuff! This installment, # 7, brings the current storyline to nice ending but leaves the door open for a new series. I really can't wait so I'll be checking out some different stories by the author in hopes of striking gold again! I normally keep my purchases in expensive books unless I really like an author. I have a Kindle Unlimited membership & I'll try and read as many books as I can from their selection. (Poor substitute teacher.) I have purchased all of the books & all of the Audibles as well. They're definite keepers!

ENJOY!😁😁😁

Deep pleasure

I have found this series just a month ago and I have enjoyed every book. Thank you so much for taking me to another world where I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. The shaman has three hands

This has gone on too long

If I was the author, book 5 would have been the ending. I am sure the majority of the audience would prefer book 6 to be the ending. Whichever case, book 7 over stayed its welcome.

Story telling that is reliant on drastic plot twists needs to be logical, and this author has struggled with making sense since book 5. The entirety of book 6 was leading you to believe one thing, but the truth reveal was completely inconsistent with the evidence being drip fed to you through out. It seemed like the author wrote himself into a corner, and the only way out was to make the characters claim to have been able to read the actions someone would take, even though no logical person makes those choices. In this book, this break of logic is even greater. I am not saying the story is bad, it just isn't my thing. I dislike this book for the same reason I dislike Naruto's story telling. It is just a bunch of people illogically being 15 steps ahead and coming off as just nonsense.
