About this listen

Nora Whitmore has been through the ringer both professionally and personally. Now, her life is more than she ever thought it could be, especially with Kelli McCabe in it. The walls have come down, and she is open to new people and experiences.

Kelli McCabe watched all the broken pieces of her life come together. The situation with her family settled down, and she's right where she wants to be back at work and in Nora's arms.

For both of them, this quiet time is just the devastating calm before the massive storm hits and brings with it the violence of a vengeful enemy and the reality of drug abuse. The chaos surrounding them exposes old wounds and individual vulnerabilities that seem to multiply when they are together. Is it too much for them to withstand? Or is what they have strong enough to overcome it all?

Contains mature themes.

Ok...I'll start with the easy stuff. Narration by Abby Craden was good as always. No surprise there. As for the story...I loved that it wasn't the typical lesfic - and instead a breakup and proceeding get-back-together. That difference was strangely refreshing. That said, it had been a while since I'd read book one, and I was very lost for the first few chapters. Didn't really understand why the breakup happened either. I'd have appreciated a little background info, even if it would have been a little repetitive for someone reading the series without pause...

Need a book 1 refresh first...

This is a very good series. I lost sleep telling myself one more chapter. The narrator is very captivating. Can't wait for more from these two.

I enjoyed this series but wish they were all available as audiobooks. I wish there was a better way to let audiences know if the rest of the series will be available and when. I love Abby Craden. I hope the remaining books are available soon!

Good series

This sequel is perfect as a follow up. We get to know Kelli and Nora better. Nora opens herself to new relationships and allows Kelli in completely. Although Abby does a superb job as usual, I actually did enjoy Sarah Grant as narrator in the previous book and would have liked for her to have completed the series. Either way, I'd say this book is worth it and worth the credit. Enjoy.

Good continuance

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️After many stories…Abby Craden is the best narrator without a doubt. she has ruined me for other more audio books🤦🏼‍♀️

It took some time to get into this book, I loved the first one in the series, and I hope I will love the third one coming out on audio in few days If not Abby Craden I m not sure I would have kept with it to the end.
There is not doubt that her narrating this book was a great choice. Ever voice is sexy and smooth like a wonderful wine.

Narration is all for this one
