About this listen

Ash’s life is anything but normal these days.

Having unlocked his Dantian, he’s grown in power. Grown to the point where he has others who depend on him for that power.

In this world of martial arts, only the strong and the ruthless survive.

Everyone else is merely a stepping stone on their path of Cultivation, or an obstacle to be overcome.

Or knock down.

A world where the strong rule, and the weak die.

Utilizing the Hall, the voice in his head that calls itself Locke, and all the powers available to him, Ash has begun his own journey of Cultivation.

Except that as a Fated One, his journey is a narrow and winding path between two cosmic forces. Each one vying for dominance.

And that has nothing to do with what Locke has planned for him.

This is his second step in his life as a Cultivator. Overcoming his first tribulation, and solidifying his Dantian.

This is a VeilVerse novel.

Warning and minor spoiler: This novel contains graphic violence, undefined relationships/a full harem, unconventional opinions/beliefs, and a hero who is tactful as a dog at a cat show. Listen at your own risk.

Awesome cultivation series

Can't wait to see how Ash will develop, one of the top cultivation books but with this author's unique spin just makes it that much better.

Intetesting

Little slow moving but I believe the next book should push the storyline more.

audible manga

I have rather enjoyed this book as much as I enjoyed the first one. one of my favorite aspects of this author is he tries to intercorrelate one genre of books to another of his trio of others.

I found this book rather engaging like listening to a audible manga. it had the perfect trifecta common to many animes. for this particular listener in some ways it reminded me of the old tenchy mayu series. I'm looking forward to a book three with excitement and a bit of forlorn. in short this author tends to do books only in trios and never expands beyond that. of this author's particular grouping I must say I have appreciated the wild wastes, super sale on superheroes, and other life. I got this book on sale through an audible membership. and thus I would recommend it under the $7.50. anything more than that I don't believe you would be getting your money's worth. this is no JK rowling, ra Salvatore, or Sean Williams book.

Arand has done it, once again!?! 😱

I wasn’t sure how he would top the first book in this series, but he did. I’ve been reminded why I love him as an author. Ash is once again, over his head in every way possible. Can’t wait to see what is in store for the next chapter of this series!

Fantastic

This series is outstanding. Not sure how I do not already have review on this since I bought and listened as soon as it was released. Really wish there was book three out already. This creation of author collaboration is very interesting. So far story arc across three authors is well done, even if one of the three does not currently tie in with the other two authors.
Book three please!

small annoyances overall good story

Andrea was amazing as always
Arand has an excellent mind
SPOILERS :

the ending just kinda sucks
I think the twist was poorly written
the sect leader is basically a god among students and faculty and can take hits that would otherwise level a city block. yet ash defeated him easily and of course left an enemy alive.
that being said, please continue to write good stories

enjoyed it, but...

I really liked the book. however I'm a little aggravated with how dumb the MC is at time. something is said or done in one chapter and comes up again in another and he acts like it's his first time hearing it. I think he needs a background story of being a stoner, then his memory loss would be more explainable.
