About this listen

Secrets. Grudges. Spies.

Max Fowler's time on the world of Nava has been short—but he's already made waves. Touching on power he can hardly understand, Max is forced into responsibilities few could ever know. From befriending cultists to dancing with alien beings, secrets find him more than he'd ever care for.

When war comes knocking, will Max be able to use these secrets to protect Lesterwood? Or will he have to run, hiding from the individuals who wish him dead?

Kept interest and pacing was wonderful. Awaiting next book in the series. Hopefully don’t have to wait to long

Great storytelling

Everything from book 1 to 3 is very solid. The world building is done so well it feels real, the magic and magic theory and wonderful. All of the characters feel very real in each of their own ways. But I can not stand how much crying there is throughout the entire story so far, and I'm by no means anyone of importance however I just had to let someone know that the crying is to much. It takes away from all of the really good emotional moments that were suppose to hit hard they all kind of just get pushed under the rug of another chapter another cry session. I know when the king died it should of hit harder, when max got the acorn from honey greens wife, and a handful of other moments just never hit as they should of. I'm sorry if this isn't the proper way to point this out. But I had to since I really love this story so far and am excited to see where it goes.

Very solid.
