About this listen

If you could turn back the clock and fix all the mistakes you ever made, would you?

From the author of the award-winning Web-novel Reborn: Evolving from Nothing comes the tale of Micheal Care, a swordsman that could only be considered a middling warrior in Humanity's Last Army.

Micheal's answer to that question would be quite simple.

Yes. A million times yes.

Humanity has fallen, killed by stronger races of beings after being warped away to a new reality, the mystical Seven Layers.

Humanity's goal had been simple. Make it through all Seven Layers and reach Heaven.

Humanity failed.

Humanity died.

Micheal Care's memories have been transported back into his past self thanks to a magical Artifact he found by chance.

He is no chosen savior. He is no divinely picked hero.

Can he change the future? Can he catch up to the mightiest warriors of humanity and surpass them?

Listen and find out.

Diamond in the rough

It's like a knock-off of Towers of Heaven. Clearly hastily written. TONS of stolen elements with clunky dialogue. It still works for me though. I enjoyed it enough to glaze over the numerous flaws and I'll get the next book when it comes out. If you're very selective and listen to books very casually, there's better quality out there. If you listen to a book a week like I do, and like this genre, it's not so bad.

Highly recommended

Very good. Not going to go too deep but if you like the lit rpg genre or fantasy or apocalypse settings you’ll like this. Well done all around

Time Travel Meets Apocolypse LIT RPG

So, first of all, I liked this quite a bit. The main character is involved in some time shinanigans early on and while I appreciated it at first, it also became a little annoying. The upside being the way in which it is written the knowledge of the future is going to begin to be less relevant as time goes on given the main character is changing the past.

Overall, I would rate this as probably something like a 4.3 - 4.6 out of 5. I liked the world setting and monsters and challenges of the first book. I would definitely read the next one when I can get it. The intro was kind of a bit of work to get through and while the time travel thing was cool at first I hope the main character utilizes info from the future less moving forward which I think will end up happening but I think that stick could get old fast.

Need more

Great novel in a series. The wexia type novels are great. Hopefully audible is able to bring more over. Because if you find this one good I have to tell you that in Genre that this just the tip of a massive iceberg.

good storyline , voice acting and narration-meh

entertaining ...I however find the narrators pronunciation of KI as KAI ...a bit annoying.
...also, I can't feel enough personality from the voice acting to make the characters memorable.. at least as of 4 hours into the audiobook. might update if gets better.
