About this listen

Expansion. Uneasy alliances. Looming Madness.

Both Cal and Dale have become stronger, each in spite of the other.

The dungeon - Cal - knows exactly how much their power has increased and is working daily to become exponentially more powerful. His schemes are becoming more complex and his dungeon - his body - more deadly.

Dale works to subvert the plans of the dungeon, but his opponent is onto him. Hearing a voice in his head distracts him in critical moments, requiring him to fight his mind even as he battles deadly creatures. Unbeknownst to both, their fight is not with each other - it's for the continuation of their lives.

Madness threatens the land, and it is coming for them.

I try to pace myself with audible to each month. I couldn't stop myself. I was completely absorbed by the story of Cal and Danni. I am already hoping for the next book to hear where it goes next!

Great story telling, Characters and plot! This is starting to become one of my favorite fantasy series.

More progress and an unfortunate side effect makes this book a good sequel. The ending was expected for me as there were several flags and I had already conjectured it would lead into a nice new set of plot lines.

The only thing I do not like is what this tells for the next book. I quite like the characters as they were. I expect the next book to focus on outside the dungeon more than inside. If this is true, I will find it difficult to enjoy it as I dont like pure chaos and broken minds.

There is only way to tell and that is to buy the next boom. If you have read the first book, this one is just as interesting, so I recommend it highly!

Great

i really enjoyed this book, my only gripe however would be the fact that I think there author wrote a couple of lines in there that we're mostly so he could hear them narrated... nothing really against that, but it felt a little jarring when I heard them...

A few words were mispronounced but that might have been due to differences in dialect, I think.

This was amazing work. 9.8/10

Almost as good as the first. Solid narration. You'd think the premise would be tired but nope...more twists to get you ready for book 3. :-)

More goodness...with a loooooong scene at the end

I would of given full stars all around if not for the swear words. They were unnecessary and honestly didn’t fit into the book’s era/theme. Great story line and wonderful performance just the language that taints it.

Unneeded bad language
